Agility yesterday - SQUEE!
30 December, 2009, 05:59 am in "Dog Agility"
Yesterday, Mom took Popper and I to the BRAG building for some agility practice - and some ball! There were a couple other dogs there, and omigod, I was SO excited that I just bark bark bark bark barked my little head off!!
And then Mom told me I was naughty and locked me in the dog crate. :(
But that didn't stop me from bark bark bark barking!!
After she ran around with Popper for a while (doing things that *I* could do much, much better I should add!) she let me out. Now, the first thing I wanted to do was tell those other dogs that they should NOT be running around doing agility while *I*, the wonder corgi, am on the floor. But Mom yelled at me. :( So we did agility on the opposite side from the other dogs. But you know what, it's not MY fault if we have some sort of collision. I'm just trying to keep it safe, ya know?
Then the other dogs' mom brought out a tennis ball. YAY!!! She'd throw it, and I'd start herding up her dogs as they ran after it, nipping at their heels as we ran for it. Except, they didn't seem to like it. The party poopers stopped chasing the ball completely. What the heck? Don't they know this is how ball is played??
Anyhoo, it was a great day and I was soooo tired! Well, I guess the day wasn't entirely great - when we were in the backyard, I was standing at the door to be let in, and Popper heisted his leg on me. :(
